    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Tomori’s dissatisfaction at AC Milan stems from a lack of regular game time. In the last ten Serie A matches, the centre-back has managed only 13 minutes on the field. This reduced role has left him questioning his future at the club. Moreover, the uncertainty surrounding Milan’s squad intensified after the sacking of former manager Paulo Fonseca. Reports indicate that Tomori is eager to make a January return to English football. While Chelsea are among the clubs he has been offered to, the Blues would have to move a player on to be able to fit him into their squad, and Tavolieri notes that a potential deal could only materialize if Chelsea were to offload one of their current defenders, specifically Axel Disasi.
